1. Lead with Hospitality
- Be the face of our hospitality culture, ensuring every guest feels welcome and valued.
- Inspire your team to exceed guest expectations at every interaction.
2. Build & Empower the Team
- Hire, train, and mentor FOH and BOH staff.
- Conduct regular team meetings to align on goals and standards.
- Foster a culture of continuous learning and professional growth.
3. Operational Excellence
- Oversee day-to-day operations, including opening/closing, scheduling, and inventory management.
- Manage catering and events, ensuring seamless execution and guest satisfaction.
- Maintain compliance with food safety, OSHA, and alcohol service regulations.
4. Drive Financial Success
- Develop budgets, monitor expenses, and implement cost-saving measures.
- Analyze financial data to identify opportunities for growth.
- Achieve KPI targets to unlock location-based bonuses.
5. Collaborate Across Departments
- Work closely with marketing, accounting, and other teams to ensure smooth operations.
- Lead initiatives that enhance teamwork and operational efficiency.
What We’re Looking For
- Proven experience as a General Manager or equivalent leadership role in the restaurant or hospitality industry.
- Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- A passion for delivering outstanding guest experiences.
- Flexibility to adapt to a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
- Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
Compensation: $60,000.00 - $72,000.00 per year

In 2010, we founded our little restaurant on the northside of Chicago. We named it Jibek Jolu to convey the rich culinary and cultural background that the restaurant would represent. In ten years, we expanded our team, menu, and services we offer. More importantly, in 10 years we have greeted and befriended many of you. Since the last few years, more and more guests requested to add a location with a parking space, larger space, and a terrace to dine outdoor. And we heard the requests.
Our menu at The Glen offers an even larger variety of cuisine, with even more delightful dishes and drinks prepared by the best chefs and barmen in the area. The interior of the restaurant is a sight to see, unlike anything you have seen before. We hired the best interior designers, leather, glass, wood, bronze, and felt craftsmen in Kyrgyzstan to assemble a modern design with a nomadic spirit. All the pieces of this ensemble are handmade and brought all the way from Kyrgyzstan, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Italy and Russia.
