ComForCare Home Care Washtenaw-Livingston is looking for contingent or part-time caregivers, CNA’s, medical students, and home health aides to help provide clients with care within their home.

If you are able to assist our entire range of clients, are COVID vaccinated, have at least 3 years of experience, and can work a varying range of shifts (includes all types of shifts), you are the person we are looking for! This is for a part-time/contingent position. We note your availability during your initial interview.
We are looking for someone that can work a mix of days, afternoons, overnights, weekends.
- This is a part-time or contingent position.
- Our clients are in Washtenaw and Livingston counties, and you must be willing to travel to the client’s home, or the facility where they reside.
- Shifts range from 1-14 hours.
Starting pay ranges from $16.50 to $19 (firm) and depends on your experience, skillet, availability, and ability to work with every client we have without barriers. If you are looking for more flexibility with less requirements, please look at our other positions, as we have multiple open with more flexibility.

Essential responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Provide companionship, conversation and mental engagement.
- Provide assistance with daily household/personal care management.
- Transportation for clients which includes visits to doctor appointments or outings.
- Observe and report changes in the client’s physical condition, behavior, or appearance.
- Assist with mobility, transfers, and range of motion exercises.
- Stand by assist to ensure safety for the client.
- Handle meal planning, preparation and feeding.
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
All listed below are required, and your application will not be considered for this position if you do not meet the requirements.
- A passion to serve and help others live their best lives possible.
- High school diploma or G.E.D. certificate.
- Previous experience as an in-home caregiver, or in senior communities/facilities. At least 3 years of experience is required.
- A valid driver’s license, auto insurance, and reliable vehicle. Your application will not be considered without this. Documentation will be required and verified before employment begins.
- Willingness to go directly to the client’s homes throughout Washtenaw County.
- Willing to run errands, drive clients to appointments, or provide transportation. Mileage is covered at $0.55 per mile.
- No barriers to working in a home. This could include pets being in the home and working with all types of clients.
- COVID vaccinated is a requirement for this position. Some clients require this, and we have to adhere to their preferences in their homes. There are other positions posted with more flexibility if you are not vaccinated.
