Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate patients to determine their physical therapy needs and develop individualized treatment plans.
- Implement therapy interventions, including exercises, manual therapy, and modalities, to address patient goals.
- Monitor and document patient progress, adjusting treatment plans as needed.
- Educate patients and their families about therapy techniques and strategies for continuing progress at home.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Maintain accurate and timely patient records in compliance with organizational and regulatory standards.
- Stay up to date with advancements in physical therapy practices and techniques.
- Adhere to all safety, quality, and ethical guidelines in the delivery of care.
Qualifications:
- Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree or equivalent from an accredited program.
- Active Physical Therapy license in the state of Florida.
- Strong clinical skills and knowledge of a wide range of therapeutic techniques.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and colleagues.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
- Proficiency with electronic health records (EHR) systems.
- New graduates are welcome to apply; prior experience in outpatient or inpatient settings is a plus.
