Position Summary:
The Relief Direct Care Professional III plays a critical role in supporting residential programs by providing high-quality care to individuals with brain injuries, developmental disabilities, and/or mental health needs. This flexible role allows you to choose your preferred days and shifts while working across designated program locations to address the greatest staffing needs as determined by the Scheduling Coordinator.
Position Responsibilities:
- Support residential teams by filling staffing gaps in designated geographical pools
- Foster a positive and stable environment for clients by maintaining consistency in care
- Adhere to all organizational policies, procedures, and certification standards
- Deliver direct care services to clients, ensuring their safety, dignity, and individual needs are met
- Help prepare meals, clean, do laundry, grocery shopping, and help keep the home pleasant and comfortable.
- Transportation to/from appointments, community events, etc.
- Complete daily shift notes, data tracking, and any other individual record keeping that may be assigned.
- Administer medications
- Remain current on agency certifications / trainings
- Other programmatic tasks assigned by the Program Director / Site Manager
Requirements:
- Must have valid certifications in all three:
- Medical Administration Program (MAP)
- Preventing and Addressing Behavioral Challenges (PABC)
- CPR/First Aid (CPR/FA)
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in residential services required
- Minimum of 15 hours per week required
- Valid driver’s license for 6+ months and acceptable motor vehicle record
- Physical ability to perform the requirements of the position
- Basic Computer Skills
- Must possess the ability to communicate effectively in a professional manner both verbally and in writing

Compensation Breakdown:
-
$21/hr: Base $18/hr + $2/hr Medical Administration Program certification differential + $1/hr FLEX differential
