Position Overview
Huntington Technology, a leading Managed Service Provider, is seeking an experienced and dynamic IT Project Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating various IT projects, ensuring that they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality. This role requires a strategic thinker with exceptional leadership and communication skills, as well as a strong technical background.
Key Responsibilities
- Project Planning and Execution: Develop comprehensive project plans, including scope, goals, deliverables, resources, and timelines. Lead the execution of projects from inception to completion.
- Stakeholder Management: Collaborate with clients, team members, and other stakeholders to define project requirements, address concerns, and ensure alignment with business objectives.
- Team Leadership: Manage and mentor the project team, providing guidance, support, and motivation to ensure high performance and effective collaboration.
- Risk Management: Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to minimize impact on project delivery.
- Budget Management: Monitor project budgets, track expenditures, and ensure financial accountability throughout the project lifecycle.
- Quality Assurance: Ensure that all project deliverables meet the required quality standards and comply with industry best practices.
- Reporting and Documentation: Maintain accurate project documentation and provide regular status updates to stakeholders and senior management.
- Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement best practices to enhance project delivery efficiency.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field. PMP or equivalent certification is highly desirable.
- Experience: A minimum of 5 years of experience in IT project management, preferably within a Managed Service Provider (MSP) environment.
- Technical Skills: Strong understanding of IT infrastructure, networking, cloud services, and cybersecurity.
- Leadership Skills: Proven ability to lead and manage cross-functional teams, with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues.
- Organizational Skills: Exceptional organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Client-Focused: A customer-centric mindset with a strong commitment to delivering outstanding service and support to clients.
