Job Description:
We are urgently seeking a highly experienced and motivated Director of Emergency Services to lead the operations of our Emergency Department. This position requires a dynamic leader who can ensure the delivery of high-quality patient care, foster a positive work environment, and drive operational excellence. The Director will be responsible for managing all aspects of the Emergency Department, including staff management, budgeting, quality improvement, and compliance with regulatory standards.

The Director will be responsible for managing all aspects of the Emergency Department, including staff management, budgeting, quality improvement, and compliance with regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the daily operations of the Emergency Department, ensuring efficient workflow and optimal patient care.
- Provide strategic leadership and direction to nursing staff and other team members.
- Develop and implement policies, procedures, and standards of care in alignment with organizational goals and regulatory requirements.
- Monitor and analyze departmental performance metrics, including patient satisfaction, throughput, and quality outcomes.
- Recruit, retain, and mentor a high-performing team of healthcare professionals.
- Manage departmental budgets, including staffing, equipment, and resources, to ensure cost-effective operations.
- Collaborate with other departments and medical leadership to enhance patient care delivery and achieve organizational objectives.
- Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations, accreditation standards, and hospital policies.
- Lead quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient safety and clinical outcomes.
- Serve as a key point of contact for internal and external stakeholders during emergency situations.
Qualifications:
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Florida.
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required; Master’s degree in Nursing, Healthcare Administration, or a related field preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of nursing leadership experience, with at least 2 years in Emergency Services.
- Certification in Emergency Nursing (CEN) or Nurse Executive (NE-BC) preferred.
- Strong knowledge of emergency care protocols, regulatory requirements, and quality improvement practices.
- Proven leadership skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a diverse team.
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and decision-making abilities.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.

Compensation: $110,000.00 - $145,000.00 per year
