Production Project Manager
Full Time • Gaithersburg
We are seeking an experienced Production Project Manager to join our team! The Production Project Manager will oversee daily production and work between departments to identify areas of improvement to increase output. The successful candidate will be able to plan and execute production schedules while also monitoring daily output and maximizing future yields and tackling any roadblocks that may arise.
Production Project Manager responsibilities include:
- Oversee production daily activities, plan production schedules and goals, communicate with the team, and ensure smooth execution
- Track, maintain, and stock both raw materials and other consumables.
- Manage production teams duties, resolve conflicts, approve leaves, and oversee training of staff.
- Collaborate with engineering and maintenance teams on machine operation and production process requirements.
- Collaborate with QA/RA departments on filing proper daily paperwork, training, validation, calibration, and audits.
- Collaborate with R/D on pilot batches, quality discrepancies, and new product scaling.
- Collaborate with e-commerce on manufacturing new product lines.
- Continuous improvements to the production process to optimize and increase yield.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in production, planning, or other related fields
- Strong project management skills
- Ability to prioritise and multitask
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work well in coordinating team members
- Excellent technical skills
- Knowledge of process related standards
- Familiarity with health and safety regulations
- Analytical thinking and interpersonal skills
- BS/MS degree in Project Management

Compensation: $60,000.00 per year
