Job Summary:
As a Porter, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and appearance of the apartment building’s common areas, assisting residents, and providing support to the management team. You will play a key role in ensuring that the community remains pristine, welcoming, and comfortable for all of our residents and guests.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the building’s common areas, including lobbies, hallways, elevators, stairwells, and restrooms.
- Ensure the building’s exterior, parking areas, and landscaping are kept in pristine condition.
- Handle routine cleaning tasks such as sweeping, mopping, dusting, and trash and snow removal.
- Respond to service requests from residents in a friendly, efficient, and timely manner.
- Assist with setting up for community events or building activities.
- Monitor building security and report any maintenance issues or safety hazards.
- Help ensure that common areas and amenities are stocked with necessary supplies.
- Provide general support to the management and maintenance team as needed.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a similar role is a plus, but not required.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong attention to detail and pride in maintaining a clean, organized environment.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with residents, staff, and visitors.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical tasks related to the role.
- Must be available to participate in a rotating on call schedule.
- A positive, friendly, and service-oriented attitude.
- Must be able to successfully pass a background check and pre employment drug screen and physical.
- Must have a valid driver's license.
- Must me authorized to work in the United States.
