The Epic Cogito Analyst designs, builds, and maintains Epic Cogito tools and reports, enabling data-driven decisions. The role involves collaborating with clinical, operational, and IT teams to ensure data accuracy and usability within the Epic platform.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop dashboards, reports, and visualizations using Epic Cogito tools (Radar, Reporting Workbench, SlicerDicer).
Translate business needs into reporting solutions and actionable insights.
Configure, maintain, and optimize Cogito-related components.
Partner with teams to identify reporting needs and establish KPIs.
Provide training and maintain documentation for Cogito workflows.
Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations (e.g., HIPAA) and conduct data quality assurance.
Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor’s in Computer Science, Data Analytics, or a related field (required); Master’s (preferred).
Certifications: Epic Cogito certification (required or within 6 months of hire).
Experience: 2+ years in healthcare IT or data analytics; proficiency in Epic tools, SQL, and data visualization.
