Title: Staff Accountant Treasury
Terms of employment: This is a permanent, full-time position. Employees will be scheduled 40 hours per week and will typically work a standard schedule of Monday to Friday.

Title: Staff Accountant Treasury
Location: Richmond, British Columbia.
Term: Full-time, permanent position
Salary: $34.62-$36.50 per hour

Vacation:
Two (2) weeks after one (1) year of service
Three (3) weeks after three (3) years of service
Four (4) weeks after seven (7) years of service
Five (5) weeks after thirteen (13) years of service
Six (6) weeks after twenty (20) years of service
Key responsibilities include:
- Perform monthly account analysis reconciling balance sheet accounts.
- Prepare analysis on account variances as needed.
- Assist in month end (and year end) closing and financial review.
- Assist with internal and external audits.
- Ensure fraud cheque is reviewed daily
- Perform month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close management for the entire accounting/finance organization.
- Perform monthly sales/use tax compliance, including researching jurisdictional taxability requirement, filing and payment.
- Provide advice on D365 ERP system service delivery.
- Conduct D365 ERP system testing to ensure reliability, accuracy, and functionality of system changes and enhancement.
- Extract data from D365 ERP system to facilitate analysis.
- Respond to ad-hoc queries on D365 ERP system from internal clients in a timely manner.
- Minimum 3 years’ experience working with AS/400.
- Minimum 2 years’ experience working with SQL Retail Live (Open RSA)
- Minimum 3 years’ experience performing cheque deposits, processing wires, bill payments, payee match, stop payments.
- Minimum 1 year experience in ERP systems.
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in PeopleSoft Financial applications.
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in all desktop computer applications such as MS Office including Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Adobe Reader.
- Enrollment in the CPA BC Program.
- Demonstrated verbal and written communication skills.
- Completion of a college program in accounting, bookkeeping or a related field or completion of two years of a recognized professional accounting program
