Mechatronic Associate Engineer
Overview of Position
Role Summary The Associate Mechatronic Enginner demonstrates leadership in communicating, developing, and executing automated manufacturing equipment focusing on Robotic Applications. Supports daily activities in process developments, validation activities, and change management. In this role you will utilize your experience and expertise to solve problems, develop & execute objectives, & have the ability to meet company objectives within the time lines specifically related to your assigned projects.
Essential Responsibilities
• Conduct Robot Configurations and complete Automated set points for assigned projects and equipment using Various Robot languages. Primary set up usage is UR cobots.
• Maintain continuous system operation by adjusting, repairing, replacing, or modifying automation/robotic system components
• Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, pneumatic and hydraulic systems and components and return to serviceability
• Perform and Develop scheduled preventive maintenance actions on all subsystems and related components
• Read and interpret electrical schematics, mechanical diagrams including complex automated system drawings.
• Analyzes engineering test results, and implements changes to resolve problems.
• Collaborate with the automation team in the qualification process of automated systems.
• Records procedures and results, numerical and graphical data, and recommendations for changes in product or method.
• Develop software, documentation and equipment to the latest revision or operational specifications.
• Assists engineers in developing and designing hardware and software required for all automation solutions per specifications.
• Trains other technicians and operators on products, processes and equipment.
• Proper use of power tools and measuring equipment
• Travel Requirement up to 15%
Qualifications/Requirements
• B.S in Engineering, Technical Practice, or Equivalent
• Experience in an engineering, quality, or production and Manufacturing Operations in the product development industry.
• Understands pneumatic functions and implementations.
• Has implemented, Programmed, and Troubleshooted UR robots.
• Has a basic understanding of integration with various Robot and Cobot models and makes such as Fanuc, Staubli, ABB, Kawasaki.
• Knowledge of Welding Applications
Desired Characteristics
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Capability to work in teams
• Understanding of PLCs
• Knowledge of HMI software
• Vision system integration in automated work cells.

Compensation: $70,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
