Responsibilities
- Drive a 2023 Mercedes Sprinter van, equipped with advanced insulation, to scheduled appointments in the Hartford area.
- Perform professional grooming services, including bathing, brushing, trimming, and styling, tailored to customer preferences and breed standards.
- Ensure pets’ safety and comfort using gentle handling and positive reinforcement techniques.
- Assess pets’ coat, skin, and overall well-being, communicating concerns to owners as needed.
- Educate pet owners on grooming techniques and recommend home-care products.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the grooming van, sanitizing all tools and supplies.
- Schedule and manage appointments efficiently to maximize productivity.
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries and concerns in a friendly, professional manner.
Requirements
- A genuine love for animals!
- Proven grooming experience, including knowledge of breed-specific grooming techniques.
- Valid grooming license for the service area (required).
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
- Ability to handle pets of all sizes, temperaments, and breeds.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for excellent customer service.
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to delivering high-quality grooming services.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and extended hours as needed.
- Certification from a grooming school or similar qualification (preferred).
- Ability to lift up to 75 lbs or temporarily handle large dogs.

Compensation: $40,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
