PIPE FOREMAN-OPERATOR

We are currently seeking a Pipe Forman Operator to join our team in the installation and maintenance of underground utilities. This position combines hands-on equipment operation with team leadership responsibilities—ideal for a candidate who thrives in a high-accountability role and has a passion for both precision and people.
Location: Charlotte, NC
Salary: $1,500 – $1,800/week ($80,000 – $110,000/year)
Schedule: Monday–Friday (50 hrs/week), occasional weekends
Key Responsibilities
• Supervise and coordinate day-to-day activities of the pipe crew
• Lead by example to promote a safety-first, team-driven environment
• Read and interpret blueprints; calculate pipe grades and elevations
• Safely operate heavy machinery (excavators, loaders, dozers, skid steers, etc.)
• Set up and use transits, pipe lasers, and traffic control work zones
• Communicate clearly with project inspectors, property owners, and team members
• Ensure proper site safety equipment and protocols (e.g., shoring, confined spaces)
• Conduct routine maintenance checks on equipment and report any issues and Maintain job site cleanliness and organization.
• Protect existing utilities during excavation

Qualifications
• Minimum 5 years of experience as a Pipe Foreman and Heavy Equipment Operator

• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
• Drug-free and safety-conscious (Must pass drug test)
• Physically fit with the stamina for labor-intensive work
• Team-oriented, dependable, and adaptable
