Lil’ Voyagers Academy is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Part-Time Co-Teacher to join our team of early childhood education professionals. As a co-teacher, you will assist your teacher in creating a nurturing, engaging, and safe learning environment for young children, ensuring their development and growth through age-appropriate activities.

As a co-teacher, you will assist your teacher in creating a nurturing, engaging, and safe learning environment for young children, ensuring their development and growth through age-appropriate activities.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the lead teacher to implement a curriculum that promotes learning and social-emotional development.
- Assist in planning and conducting daily activities, including circle time, arts and crafts, outdoor play, and other classroom routines.
- Foster a positive, inclusive, and supportive classroom environment.
- Supervise children to ensure their safety at all times.
- Build strong, communicative relationships with families to support children’s growth and success.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and child-friendly classroom.
- Support the lead teacher with assessments, observations, and documentation as needed.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED required (CDA or coursework in Early Childhood Education preferred).
- Previous experience working with children in a childcare, preschool, or school setting.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Patience, flexibility, and a passion for working with children.
- Ability to meet the physical demands of working with young children (e.g., bending, lifting, sitting on the floor).
Hours:
- Part-time, with flexible shifts during morning or afternoon hours (exact schedule based on availability).
