Job Summary:
The LCM Project Manager in the Facility Professional Services (FPS) division manages high-impact building projects on Washington’s historic Capitol Campus. Responsibilities include overseeing all phases of project delivery—planning, design, budgeting, construction, and closeout—while collaborating with diverse stakeholders to ensure alignment with strategic goals.
Key Responsibilities:
The LCM Project Manager in the Facility Professional Services (FPS) division manages high-impact building projects on Washington’s historic Capitol Campus. Responsibilities include overseeing all phases of project delivery—planning, design, budgeting, construction, and closeout—while collaborating with diverse stakeholders to ensure alignment with strategic goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct site inspections and develop project scopes, schedules, and budgets.
- Oversee project phases, including planning, design, permitting, construction, and closeout.
- Monitor project budgets, expenditures, and compliance with capital allocations.
- Review and approve project-related documents (invoices, amendments, change orders).
- Coordinate communication plans and stakeholder engagement for projects.
- Provide technical guidance and ensure alignment with master plans and strategic initiatives.
Required Qualifications:

Education/Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in architecture, engineering, or construction management (or equivalent experience year-for-year).
- 4+ years of professional experience in architectural/engineering design or facility construction.

Skills:
- Ability to adapt to changing environments, build relationships with stakeholders, and manage multidisciplinary teams.
- Working knowledge of design principles, construction methods, public works planning, and regulatory compliance.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Expertise in Lean management, safety protocols, and capital budget development.
- Knowledge of historic preservation, environmental standards, SEPA processes, and LEED/Zero-Energy Building principles.
- Proficiency in GIS, AutoCAD, CMMS, and dispute resolution strategies.
