Elzey Insurance & Financial Services is seeking a qualified and empathetic professional for the role of Life & Disability Insurance producer. We are seeking a motivated and results-driven person to join our dynamic sales team. In this role, you will be responsible for promoting and selling life and disability insurance products to individuals and businesses. Your primary goal will be to build relationships with potential clients, understand their needs, and provide tailored insurance solutions that meet those needs.
- Client Engagement: Actively seek out new clients through networking, referrals, and prospecting to build a strong pipeline of potential leads.
- Needs Assessment: Conduct thorough needs assessments to understand clients' financial situations and insurance needs, providing personalized recommendations.
- Product Knowledge: Maintain a deep understanding of life and disability insurance products, staying informed about industry trends and regulatory changes.
- Sales Goals: Achieve a minimum target of writing $150 of newly paid premium each week, consistently contributing to the overall sales team’s objectives.
- Follow-Up: Regularly follow up with prospects and clients to ensure satisfaction and address any questions or concerns regarding their policies.
- Documentation: Accurately complete and submit all necessary paperwork and documentation related to sales and client onboarding.
- Training and Development: Participate in ongoing training sessions and workshops to enhance sales skills and product knowledge.
- Collaboration: Work closely with other team members and departments to ensure a seamless experience for clients and maximize cross-selling opportunities.
- Bachelor’s degree in business, Finance, or a related field preferred.
- State insurance license for life and health insurance. perferred
- Previous experience in sales, particularly in insurance or financial services, is a plus.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients.
- Self-motivated with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Knowledge of life and disability insurance products and regulations is advantageous.
- Proficiency in using CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Achieve a weekly sales target of writing $150 of newly paid premium.
- Monitor and report weekly sales activities and outcomes to the sales manager.
- Maintain a high level of client satisfaction and retention through excellent service and follow-up.
- Base salary ($40k or $55k based on experience) plus commission
