- Oversee inbound and outbound shipments, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
- Use designated software to process shipping and receiving documentation.
- Inspect shipments for accuracy, addressing discrepancies with internal and external collaborators.
- Safely package shipments to ensure secure, timely delivery.
- Verify shipment details against orders, including descriptions, part numbers, and quantities.
- Process internal sales orders by pulling parts, packing, and managing shipment logistics.
- Accurately update inventory records in the MRP system to reflect physical inventory.
- Manage warehouse space for efficient material storage and access.
- Maintain a clean, organized inventory warehouse.
- Execute manufacturing and work orders, including material preparation and transaction updates.
- Conducts regular inventory cycle counts to ensure record accuracy.
- Assist with administrative tasks such as filing, email correspondence, and supporting the Production Manager with various assignments.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; additional certifications or coursework in logistics or inventory management is a plus.
- Proficiency in ERP/MRP systems and software for inventory management.
- Strong organizational skills with high attention to detail.
- Physical capability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
- Effective communication and ability to follow both written and verbal instructions.
- Proven reliability, punctuality, and teamwork skills.
- Advanced computer skills, including proficiency in Outlook, Excel, and online applications.
- Knowledgeable with printers and scanners
- 2+ years of inventory management experience.
- Familiarity with manufacturing or warehouse operations.
- Ability to analyze data, suggest process improvements, and resolve vendor discrepancies.
- Knowledge of U.S. geography for logistical planning.
- Experience with international shipping and customs requirements.
- Indoor office environment with occasional warehouse tasks.
- Ability to communicate effectively via verbal and written methods.
- Frequent use of typical office equipment, including computers and keyboards.
