ALEXIA ADMOR IS seeking a Production Coordinator. 

Responsibilities:

  • Manage product development in all aspects from inception to completion
  • Liaise with customers & overseas manufacturers regarding the development of products from pre-production to final production to ensure satisfaction in style, construction, and quality, as well as staying competitive in pricing
  • Oversee all aspects of design, fabrication, construction, and technical difficulties to advise solutions and alternative options to meet the customer’s satisfaction and price range
  • Maintain a Time & Action calendar, keeping track of development progress, and updating changes/making corrections to ensure the development process runs smoothly and runs on schedule with optimal results
  • Coordinate production process from the initial steps of placing orders to the final execution
  • Maintain a thorough knowledge and understanding of all aspects of the apparel and accessories industry, construction methods, fabrications, trims, and relevant technologies
  • Using technical knowledge to specify product materials for appearance quality, weight, and hand-feel
  • Be the main point of communication between the production team and manufacturers on all production details, both overseas and domestic – provide feedback and clear direction with regards to production status for all products and ensuring all issues are resolved
  • Ensure product adheres to design while maintaining margin requirements
  • Adhere to timelines by meeting all due dates, ensuring the 100% completion of all products, and monitoring the production process constantly in compliance with specified instructions and timelines

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 3-5 years of related work experience minimum
  • Fluency in English
  • Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced and everchanging environment
  • Strong team player with excellent communication & follow-through skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Highly organized and detail oriented
  • Understanding product development and production process as well as knowledge of line plans, time and action calendars, and WIP reports
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • New York, NY 10018: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
  • Microsoft Office: 3 years (Required)
  • Organizational skills: 3 years (Required)
  • Mandarin fluency is a plus
