About the Role:
We are looking for a reliable and experienced Delivery Driver with a CDL A to join our team at Leachman Lumber Co. As an independent lumberyard located in Des Moines, IA, we take pride in providing top-notch service to our customers, and we are seeking a dedicated individual to help us continue that tradition.
Responsibilities:
- Transport lumber and building materials to and from job sites
- Operate and maintain delivery truck in a safe and efficient manner
- Provide excellent customer service during delivery and at job sites
- Assist with loading and unloading materials as needed
- Adhere to all DOT regulations and company policies
Requirements:
- Valid CDL A with clean driving record
- Prior experience in a similar role, preferably in the lumber or construction industry
- Ability to lift heavy materials and operate equipment as needed
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Attention to detail and commitment to safety

Compensation: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour
