Job Summary
We are looking for a skilled Industrial Web Press Mechanic to join our 3rd shift team (11 PM - 7 AM) in Menomonee Falls, WI. This role is crucial for maintaining, repairing, and upgrading our high-speed industrial printing equipment. The ideal candidate will have expertise in machine tooling, welding, pneumatics, hydraulics, and industrial maintenance. Key Responsibilities
- Manufacture and upgrade production parts and equipment modifications.
- Monitor and maintain an inventory of essential parts.
- Conduct preventative maintenance and document all work performed.
- Clean, lubricate, and adjust machinery and equipment.
- Cut and weld materials to repair or fabricate machine components.
- Troubleshoot and repair production machinery to maintain operational efficiency.
- Read and interpret technical manuals for installation and maintenance procedures.
- Adhere to OSHA and plant safety regulations, ensuring a safe working environment.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Previous experience in industrial maintenance within a high-speed production environment.
- Knowledge of machine tooling, welding, pneumatics, hydraulics, pipe installation, chiller plants, and waste systems.
- Ability to weld, braze, and cut using Plasma Cutter, MIG, TIG, Stick, or Oxygen/Acetylene Torch.
- Experience using precision measuring tools such as scales, micrometers, and indicators.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting schematics for pneumatic and hydraulic systems.
- Previous experience with installing copper, black pipe, PVC, or groove lock piping.
- Ability to stand, walk, climb, kneel, stoop, crouch, and bend for extended periods.
- Must be able to lift and move up to 50 lbs.
- Comfortable working at heights and in confined spaces.
- Ability to work in a production environment with exposure to moving machinery, airborne particles, and loud noise levels.
