Job Summary
Crossroads at Northglenn is looking for a hardworking Maintenance Director for our assisted living community! You’ll make sure our assisted living community is operating efficiently, regularly inspect our building for any damage, and conduct routine maintenance on our building to keep it running smoothly and looking visually appealing. The ideal person for this job is a reliable team player and a problem solver who has prior maintenance experience in senior living.
 
 Responsibilities 
  • Conducts routine maintenance on equipment and systems such as HVAC units, plumbing fixtures, and electrical wiring to make sure they’re operating efficiently and make any needed repairs
  • Inspects the building for any structural damage to windows, doors, and walls and perform necessary repairs
  • Keeps a record of completed repairs and when equipment was last serviced
  • Keeps building current and compliant with all local, state and federal regulations
  • Schedules and organizes all fire and life safety compliance inspections and keeps track of all records
  • Repairs and cleans rooms for efficient turnover
  • Responds quickly in the event of an emergency, notifies appropriate personnel and follows safety protocol
  • Develops and executes preventative maintenance measures to keep our building operating efficiently and prevent any safety risks
  • Responds to requests in a positive and cooperative manner
  • Keeps track of maintenance supply and housekeeping budgets and inventory and places orders as needed
  • Collects several bids for all large building-related projects
  • Handles additional maintenance tasks as needed
  • Manages and directs housekeeping staff
Qualifications
  • High school diploma/GED or equivalent preferred
  •  Experience in building maintenance, senior living required
  • Must enjoy working with the elderly
  • Advanced understanding of maintenance equipment, procedures, and techniques
  • Advanced knowledge of local, state and federal regulations and fire / life safety codes
  • Excellent work ethic, communication skills, time management skills, and attention to detail
Compensation: $65,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
