About Us: Fit Fusion, LLC is a dynamic Crunch Fitness franchise group, dedicated to expanding our footprint by developing 5-7 new clubs per year. Our mission is to revolutionize the fitness industry by developing state-of-the-art clubs that prioritize member experience through innovative construction, technology and design. We are seeking a highly experienced and motivated Vice President of Construction to lead and oversee all aspects of our construction projects.
Position Overview: The Vice President of Construction will be responsible for managing the entire construction process, from site selection to project completion. This role requires a strategic leader with a strong background in construction management, excellent negotiation skills, and the ability to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage the general contractor and subcontractors to ensure quality and timely completion of projects.
- Work closely with the operations team to develop and implement innovative design solutions that enhance the overall member experience.
- Perform regular site visits to monitor progress, maintain schedules, and ensure adherence to production and quality standards.
- Handle bid negotiations and contract management with vendors and contractors.
- Assist in tracking and managing invoices, budgets, and financial reports.
- Collaborate with the real estate team on site selection and feasibility studies.
- Develop and implement construction strategies, policies, and procedures.
- Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations.
- Provide leadership and guidance to the construction team, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
- Report project status, risks, and issues to senior executive management.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in construction management, Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in construction management, with a focus on commercial or fitness facility projects.
- Proven track record of successfully managing multiple construction projects simultaneously.
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and regulations.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and leadership skills.
- Ability to travel frequently to various project sites.
- Proficiency in construction management software and tools.
