Jarvis Smart Homes is seeking a highly skilled Lead Technician to join our team at Jarvis Smart Homes. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in Wi-Fi and networking, home automation, surround sound and AV, home theater, security cameras, and alarm systems. While this position will be leading others, it is also the expectation that the role will include a fair amount of installation and programming.
Responsibilities:
• Perform installations and oversee low-voltage technicians and subcontractors.
• Assign tasks and manage project timelines and budgets.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues on-site to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used.
• Manage inventory and ensure job site preparation and cleanup.
• Deliver a white-glove customer service experience.
• Train and mentor junior technicians.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards.
• Handle programming and follow-up service calls.
Qualifications:
• Minimum of 2 years of experience managing others in home automation and security systems.
• Competency in Wi-Fi/networking, home automation, surround sound and AV, home theater, security cameras, and alarm systems.
• Strong troubleshooting skills and ability to resolve technical issues efficiently.
• Excellent project management skills.
• Strong customer service orientation.
Compensation: $20.00 - $35.00 per hour
