Job Description:
The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, a love for cooking, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. You will play a key role in preparing and presenting dishes that delight our members and guests. You must be 18 years of age or over to apply.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare and cook menu items in accordance with established recipes and standards.
Ensure food quality, presentation, and portion control meet the club’s high standards.
Assist in the preparation of ingredients, including chopping, marinating, and seasoning.
Maintain a clean and organized workstation, following all sanitation and safety guidelines.
Collaborate with the culinary team to develop and execute daily specials and seasonal menus.
Monitor inventory levels and communicate supply needs to the kitchen manager.
Adhere to all food safety and hygiene regulations.
Assist with receiving and storing deliveries as needed.
Perform other duties as assigned by the Executive Chef or Kitchen Manager.

Qualifications:

Previous experience as a cook in a restaurant, hotel, or country club setting is preferred.
Knowledge of various cooking techniques, cuisines, and kitchen equipment.
Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and evenings as needed.
Food handler’s certification or willingness to obtain one.
Be 18 years old or over.

Physical Requirements:

Ability to stand for extended periods and lift 50 pounds.
Ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment.
