About the Role:

We are seeking an Property Insurance Claims Specialist to join our team at Honest Abe Roofing Corporate in Terre Haute, IN. This role offers the opportunity to work with a reputable company in the roofing industry and assist customers and our franchise owners with their insurance claims for roof repairs and replacements.

Responsibilities:

Train our internal team members on how to review and process property insurance claims for roof repairs and replacements
Develop and implement a process on how to communicate with customers and insurance companies to ensure timely and accurate claims processing
Create and implement an evaluation and documentation process to assess damage to roofs and provide detailed reports for insurance purposes
Coordinate with adjusters to schedule inspections and repairs
Stay up-to-date on insurance regulations and industry standards for claims processing

Requirements:

Prior experience in property insurance claims processing or related field
Extensive experience with Xactimate property claims processing software
Ability to train and operate Xactimate property claims processing software
Knowledge of property insurance policies and procedures, specifically related to property claims
Strong attention to detail and ability to accurately assess and document roof damage
Excellent communication and negotiation skills, including the ability to train on property insurance claims processing
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
