Your Therapy Superpowers 🦸
As an LPC-MHSP, you’ll have plenty of opportunities to put your clinical skills to work. You’ll:
- Assess and diagnose mental health conditions
- Create treatment plans that actually reflect the individual sitting in front of you
- Provide thoughtful, client-centered therapy
- Complete assessments, treatment plans, case notes, and other clinical documentation
- Maintain a caseload of at least 27 client visits per week
- Get creative with interventions and help clients work toward—and sometimes exceed—their goals
- Coordinate care with case managers, families, employers, medical providers, schools, and other professionals when needed
- Collaborate with a dynamic clinical team
- Attend clinical meetings and trainings
- Help with other important clinic responsibilities when they pop up
Basically, you’ll do the clinical work you trained for, while having room to bring your own personality and creativity to it.
Your Ellie Starter Pack ☕🧠
You’ll need:
- A master's degree in behavioral science or a related field
- Current LPC-MHSP licensure in Tennessee
- Temporary licensure and qualified post-master's candidates will also be considered
- Experience completing assessments, treatment plans, and clinical case notes
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- The ability to establish and maintain healthy professional boundaries
- Comfort working with a diverse client population
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office 365 and electronic health record systems
- Valant experience is a plus
- Ideally, credentialing with insurance panels
- And perhaps most importantly…a sense of humor 😄
