Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Fabricator/Welder to join our team. In this position, you will interpret blueprints and drawings to accurately weld structural components and parts. This is an integral part of the construction process, as it provides a strong infrastructure foundation. The ideal candidate is a hard worker with great attention to detail and proven experience as a Welder. A welding test is required, and base pay depends on the outcome of the test.

Responsibilities
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and schematics
- Plan layout and measurements of structural components on table to be welded
- Interpret requirements to select the most appropriate welding equipment for the job
- Operate angle grinders, calipers, rulers, and other hand and power tools
- Use manual and semi-automatic welding equipment
Qualifications
- Previous experience as a Welder
- Detail oriented with ensuring precise work and spotting flaws
- Experience with mathematical skills and knowledge of welding processes
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and other technical documents and drawings
- Understanding of all health and safety guidelines and wearing protective gear
- Effective communication with coworkers and bosses
Compensation: $20.00 - $30.00 per hour

Industrial projects range in scope broadly and include modifiying shipping containers for custom applications, fabrication of steel enclosures, metal brackets, straps, posts, rails and floor tracks to name just a few.
