Job Position Description: 
The Assistant Area Supervisor is primarily responsible for providing janitorial coverage as directed by the Area Supervisor at multiple customer sites throughout Harford and Cecil Counties. Daily communication with the Area Supervisor is paramount to ensure clear expectations of assignments for each work shift. Duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to: 
  • Maintain cleaner and healthier environments for our customer’s buildings and grounds.
  • Perform all contracted cleaning duties for facilities as assigned using provided ServiceMaster products, tools and procedures. Basic cleaning duties may include sweeping, mopping, polishing, trash removal, cleaning restrooms, windows, and dusting.
  • Inventory and delivery of cleaning supplies and equipment as assigned.
  • 4-hour shifts minimum required, 5 days per week, may include some weekends. Flexible days and shift times.
  • Must be available to respond to emergency coverage in the event of employee call-outs.
  • Travel is required for this position. 
  • Must Have reliable transportation
Physical Demands and Qualifications:
 
  • ***Bilingual in Spanish and English preferred.***
  • The ability to be flexible and work at a fast pace in a multi-tasked job is a must.
  • Constant (up to 100%) standing, walking, pushing, kneeling, twisting, reaching
  • Must be able to lift and/or carry up to 25lbs.
  • Will provide on the job training to those with strong work ethic and willingness to learn.
  • Contribute to the overall team effort including being in uniform, dependable and on time
  • Treat all co-workers and customers with courtesy and respect

Compensation: $18.00 per hour
