Job Responsibilities
- Monitor and assess critically ill patients, providing continuous care.
- Administer medications, IV fluids, and blood products as prescribed.
- Operate and maintain life-support equipment such as ventilators and monitors.
- Perform advanced interventions like intubation and resuscitation when necessary.
- Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to develop and adjust care plans.
- Conduct frequent patient assessments and accurately document findings.
- Respond promptly to changes in patient conditions and initiate appropriate interventions.
- Provide emotional support and education to patients’ families.
- Ensure infection control protocols are strictly followed.
- Maintain detailed patient records and ensure continuity of care during shift changes.
