MUST have 2 years experience in hospital setting
Shift time can vary: 5x8's, START TIME CAN VARY 11am – 2:30pm & END TIME WILL VARY 7:30PM-11PM
2 call shifts per pay period, no floating, and weekends required per needs of unit

The X-Ray Technologist performs diagnostic imaging procedures using X-ray equipment to
capture detailed images of patients' internal structures for diagnostic purposes. The role involves
preparing patients, operating X-ray machines, ensuring the quality of images, and adhering to
safety and regulatory standards. The X-Ray Tech collaborates with radiologists and other
healthcare professionals to provide high-quality patient care and accurate diagnostic information.

Key Responsibilities:
- Perform X-Ray Scans: Operate X-ray machines to perform imaging procedures,
- including chest, abdominal, skeletal, and other studies as ordered by a physician.
- Patient Preparation: Prepare and position patients for X-ray exams,
- explain procedures,and ensure patient comfort and safety throughout the imaging process.
Qualifications:
- Radiation Safety: Follow safety protocols to minimize radiation exposure to patients and
- Equipment Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance and calibration of X-ray
- Documentation: Accurately document patient information, imaging procedures
- Collaboration: Work closely with radiologists, physicians, and other healthcare
- Patient Care: Provide compassionate and professional care, addressing patient concerns
- Education: Associate's or Bachelor’s degree in Radiologic Technology or a related field.
- Certification: ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification in
- Radiography (ARRT-R) required. State licensure where applicable.
- BLS/CPR Certification: Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
- Experience: Minimum 1-2 years of experience as an X-Ray Technologist preferred.
Skills and Abilities:and address patient concerns.
- Proficiency in operating X-ray machines and performing a variety of X-ray exams.
- Knowledge of anatomy, radiographic positioning, and X-ray imaging techniques.
- Strong patient communication and care skills, including the ability to explain procedures
- Attention to detail with the ability to assess and interpret X-ray images accurately.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to manage complex imaging scenarios.

Compensation: $60.00 - $62.00 per hour
