Job Overview:
As an Analyst in the EV charging space, you will be an integral part of our team, directly contributing to the growth and evolution of electric vehicle infrastructure. In this position, your primary focus will be on gathering and analyzing large volumes of data related to EV charging stations, user behaviour, market trends, and policy impacts. You will use your analytical skills to identify emerging patterns, opportunities, and challenges in the EV charging landscape, providing actionable insights that influence strategic business decisions.
Your work will directly support the development and optimization of EV charging networks, ensuring they are scalable, efficient, and aligned with market demands. This includes working closely with cross-functional teams, such as product development, business development, engineering, and marketing, to develop solutions that drive the adoption of electric vehicles and enhance the user experience.
Duties / Responsibilities:
- Analyze and visualize data on EV charging usage, uptime, market trends, and industry developments.
- Monitor network trends to predict challenges and growth opportunities.
- Create reports on performance, market analysis, and competitive landscape, providing actionable insights.
- Streamline data sources and optimize query efficiency.
- Support internal teams, partners, and regulatory bodies in business development and policy initiatives.
- Develop KPIs with executives to measure commercial success and business impact.
- Provide data-driven suggestions to improve networks and align with business goals.
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Proficiency in data analysis tools such as Excel, SQL, Power Query, Python (desirable, not essential).
- Expertise in data visualization and analysis software (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills, with the ability to present complex data in a clear, concise and actionable manner.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with stakeholders across various departments.
- Initiative-taking and capable of working both independently and as part of a team.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Economics, Computer Science, Statistics, or a related field.
- Master’s degree in the abovementioned subjects or relevant certifications are desirable.
- 2+ years of experience in data analysis, market research, or the EV/renewable energy sector (experience in EV charging or related technologies is sought after, but not essential).
Preferred Skills:
- Knowledge of GIS tools and spatial analysis for site selection.
- Experience with EV charging station operations, energy management, or infrastructure planning.
- Understanding of regulatory frameworks and policy landscape around EV adoption and infrastructure in USA.
- Familiarity with Relational Database Management Systems and datasets with hierarchical structures.
- Strong understanding of the EV charging market, technologies, and industry players.
Work Authorization:
