Reconstruction Manager
Salary - $80,000 - $90,000 total compensation (base + bonus)

The Reconstruction Manager is responsible to recruit and coach all team members to build a strong performance based office. This role will support the company goals and strategies of the Company Owned Operations.

Essential Duties/Responsibilities
  • Recruit and coach team members, promote teambuilding and engagement in the office
  • Schedule and conduct department meetings
  • Responsible for department budget maintenance
  • Review and discuss team performance with team members and project managers 
  • Review plans and needs of the company
  • Responsible for coaching and developing the team with leadership development skills and position development skills
  • Conduct and Complete weekly goal meetings with direct reports
  • Complete Goal Setting & Review meetings with direct Manager
  • Participate in weekly production meeting with the GM 
  • Implement, follow, and communicate company policies and procedures
  • Ensure proper communication between project managers and customers
  • Ensure compliance with third party administrator in respect to insurance guidelines
  • Responsible for maintaining participation on insurance carrier programs
  • Responsible for resolving escalated customer service matters
  • Professionally represent the Paul Davis Restoration principles of honesty and integrity

  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel)
  • Knowledge of our main operating systems; RMS and Xactimate
  • Knowledge of the restoration industry
  • Knowledge and ability to read and write reconstruction estimates
  • Ability to create and maintain job budgets and financials
  • Knowledge of Project Management
  • Knowledge of business development

  • Communication skills (verbal and written)

  • Ability to manage, lead, and coach a staff within an operation

Required Education and Experience
  • 5+ years experience in management and construction
  • 5+ years experience in a Project Management and/or Estimator role
  • Experience with blueprint reading
Preferred Education and Experience
  • 5-10 years experience in restoration or construction field
  • Reconstruction experience in insurance claims 
  • Sales experience
Physical Requirement
  • Must be able to stay in a stationary position up to 75% of the time
  • The person in this position needs to occasionally move about a customer job site (indoors and outdoors)
  • Occasionally ascends and descends a ladder to service customer sites
  • Constantly operates a computer
  • Must be able to communicate and converse with customers over the phone and face to face
  • Occasionally will lift up to 50lbs
  • Ability to safely operate a company vehicle
Work Environment
The employee will be working indoors and outdoors. The employee will be exposed to outdoor weather conditions.

Travel
This position will require up to 25% local travel to jobs sites, trainings, and company events (as needed).
