As we continue to grow, we are seeking a skilled Xactimate Biller with significant experience in the remediation industry to join our team.
Position Summary: The Xactimate Biller will be responsible for preparing, submitting, and negotiating insurance claims related to our biohazard remediation services. This role is critical to ensuring that all work is billed accurately and completely, maximizing revenue while maintaining compliance with industry standards and insurance carrier requirements.

This position requires close collaboration with our remediation technicians and field supervisors to ensure that every job is thoroughly documented, photographed, and executed in line with the project scope. Your communication and oversight will be key to helping the company capture the full extent of work performed and ensure proper compensation for services rendered.

- Utilize Xactimate software to prepare detailed and accurate estimates for biohazard remediation projects.
- Submit claims and supporting documentation to insurance companies in a timely manner.
- Communicate and negotiate with adjusters and insurance representatives to ensure fair claim settlement.
- Review field documentation, job photos, and technician notes to confirm scope and completeness of billing.
- Work directly with technicians and field supervisors to ensure:
- Proper project documentation and photo capture.
- Adherence to the agreed project scope.
- All billable services and materials are captured accurately.
- Track and follow up on submitted claims to ensure prompt resolution and payment.
- Stay current with industry standards, Xactimate updates, and insurance carrier expectations.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience in the restoration or remediation industry, with a strong focus on Xactimate billing and insurance claims handling.
- Proven success in submitting and negotiating insurance claims.
- High proficiency with Xactimate and related estimating platforms.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with both office and field staff.
- Detail-oriented and organized, with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
- Familiarity with biohazard remediation procedures is preferred.
Compensation: $70,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
