The Licensed Child Care Administrator is responsible for the efficient operation of all residential services including direct supervision of childcare workers, shift supervisors, and maintenance. The Administrator is responsible for the overall program directly involving the day to day operation of the facility, including the overall staffing of the facility. The Administrator is directly responsible for ensuring that all minimum standards are enforced at all times, and that all reports and records are available for Licensing staff review. She is also responsible for the overall care and safety of the residents at the facility, and ensures the privacy and confidentiality of the residents.

Duties include:
- Maintain current Child Care Administrator license
- Ensure all contractual requirements and grant-specific financial requirements are met
- Coordinate interagency relationships between the various entities involved in the program including all funding sources and contracting agencies
- Adhere to and implement terms of the contract in accordance with the funding source and St. Georgia’s, LLC GRO ’s policies and procedures
- Provide staff training in the various requirements of the project
- Manage the flow of information between all involved entities
- Participate as a member of the multi-disciplinary treatment team responsible for case management and care of the resident in the program
- Comply with the agency and respective program policy and procedure manuals
- Attend and participate in trainings, workshops and in-service meetings to maintain current information on activities as well as Policy and Procedures with St. Georgia’s, LLC GRO or outside agencies
- Manage and coordinate the activities of a local advisory council and have extensive involvement in both community and public relations
- Attend trainings, workshops, and meetings upon request
- Maintain confidentiality in all areas of resident and program operations
- Maintain professional and ethical standards as prescribed by St. Georgia’s, LLC GRO
- Comply with all licensing standards as well as funding source guidelines
- Role model a professional demeanor at all times
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in a social service or related field, with a total of three years supervisory/administrative experience or a Master’s degree in social services or related field, with a total of two years supervisory/administrative experience with troubled resident Any educational or experiential qualifications to be considered as equivalent, in lieu of the above minimums, require prior approval of the Executive Director. Must be a Licensed Child Care Administrator and must be 21 years or older. Bilingual in Spanish preferred.
Additional Required Experience
Supervisory experience in monitoring and quality assurance of behavior/case management, budget management, personnel management, conflict resolution, cultural diversity awareness, overall office management, group or family counseling, resident services, residential, educational or institutional settings and advocacy. Preferred computer literate with working knowledge of Microsoft Office. Must possess a valid Texas driver’s license.
