Animal Medical Center is looking for an upper part-time grooming assistant for our grooming department. The schedule would be Monday - Friday, 8:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.
WHAT ARE THE DUTIES OF A GROOMING ASSISTANT?
As a grooming assistant you will continue to establish excellence in pet healthcare by:

- Performing brush outs and baths
- Be an advocate for pet health by ensuring they are healthy (ear infections, lumps noted, etc.)
- Use low-stress handling techniques when bathing and drying
- Disinfection of kennels and cleaning of the bathing room
- Walk the grooming pets during the day to relieve themselves
WHAT SKILLS DO I NEED?

- Willing to learn and grow in the grooming department
- Excellent customer service skills both written and verbal
- Love people as much as you love pets
- Able to stand for long periods of time, be able to lift up to 50 pounds and more assisted
WHAT OTHER THINGS DO I NEED TO KNOW?
- All applicants must be authorized to work in the United States now and in the future
- Dependability and being flexible is essential
- Upon conditional offer of employment, you successfully complete a drug screen and background check
Compensation: $10.00 - $12.00 per hour
