Qualifications:
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree
- Ellis and Associates Lifeugard Instructor Certification
- 1 year experience in Supervising or Management
- 1 year aquatics experience - Lifeguarding, coaching, teaching, and/or supervising
- Strong organization, computer, and training skills
- The ability to multi-task and effectively manage multiple situations at once
- Able to sustain a high level of energy in the most positive manner.

- Certified Ellis Lifeguard Instructor
- Exceptional organization skills
- The ability to communicate and connect with employees to build trust and genuine relationships.
- Ownership and initiative to solve problems and make recommendations
- Shows the ability to make sound objective decisions based on facts, logic, and good judgement in a timely manner.
- Results driven, with an infinite mindset
- Has intrinsic motivation to succeed and to lead the team in succeeding.
- Sharp attention to detail and ability to incoporate multitasking in oversight.
- Positive, up beat attitude that focuses on producing results through coaching, not driving.
Responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
- Oversees facility safety and E&A Lifeguards, maintaining “Exceeds Expectations.”
- Directs, trains, maintains and oversees the implementation of the Emergency Action Plan and all safety procedures that pertain to the GSS facility and EAP.
- Performs routine safety audits and equipment checks.
- Run monthly E&A Lifeugard Certifications.
- Prepare monthly scenario rotation & oversee completion per shift.
- Scenario Form Audit - report scores.
- Plan meaningful monthly safety in-services.
- Oversee Deck Supervisor team in upholding safety standards.
- Oversee Lifeguards in maintaining test-readiness and vigilance.
- Maintain staff certifications - all staff BLS certified.
- Maintain Certification Binder for those who are certified outside of Ellis.
- Remains up to date with all Ellis changes and informs the team.
- Gains a high level of knowledge and experience in the GSS pool operations necessary to maintain a safe and sanitary swim environment.
- Participates in all role shifts to remain proficient in GSS aquatics and sales standards.
- Maintains current certifications and stays up-to-date professionally on the aquatics field.

Compensation: $21.00 - $22.00 per hour
