Specialized Personal Trainer:
Personal trainer specializing in the specific/unique needs of our clients (for example, pre/post natal exercise, boxing, stretching, mobility, kettlebell, etc.). This position will include developing, implementing, monitoring and maintaining individual exercise recommendations for club clients in a professional and quality manner to ensure exceptional member satisfaction and retention. This position will also include selling personal training sessions and/or programs. 

Job Type: Full-time 
Compensation: At FFC, trainers earn commission based on experience and certifications, ranging from $40 to $74 per session. During the first 60 days, new trainers earn commissions from paid sessions & New Member Sessions, plus a special bonus ($500-$1000 each month during their first 3 months) for meeting session goals. Trainers are guaranteed to earn at least minimum wage for all hours worked. 

New Trainer Schedule & Responsibilities (First 60-90 Days):
  • Choose 5+ shifts/week (6 hours each) including at least one weekend shift.
Responsibilities:
  • Manage the InBody machine, Fitness Desk, etc
  • Oversee the fitness floor 
  • Greet members - get to know our members!
  • Perform outreach (email/calls) - building your book of business is a major part of this job. Use sales techniques to show your expertise and value as a top notch trainer! 
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Education: Bachelor’s in exercise physiology or related field
  • Certification: Nationally accredited Personal Training certification
  • Experience: 2+ years in a health club setting with proven sales experience
  • Expertise: Must be or have been a Master and/or Elite level trainer
  • Safety: CPR and AED certification

  • Engage New Members: Create personalized workout plans.
  • Be a Fitness Resource: Assist members on the fitness floor with exercises.
  • Promote FFC Programs: Match members to relevant programs.
  • Deliver Quality Training: Help clients achieve fitness goals.
  • Stay Sharp: Keep certifications up-to-date.
  • Community Involvement: Volunteer for special events.
  • Organize Client Files: Maintain detailed records.
