Job Summary
We are seeking a Line Cook to join the team at our busy restaurant. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food and a commitment for delivering high quality dishes in a fast paced environment. As a Line Cook you will play a crucial role in food preparation, cooking and maintaining the standards of our kitchen. Your expertise will will contribute to creating memorable dining experiences for our guests. 

Duties and Responsibilities: 
  • Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and presentation standards.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, adhering to food safety and sanitation guidelines.
  • Assist in menu planning and development, incorporating seasonal ingredients and customer preferences.
  • Collaborate with the dietary department to accommodate special dietary needs or restrictions.
  • Monitor inventory levels of food supplies and assist in ordering as needed.
  • Ensure proper food handling techniques are followed at all times.
  • Participate in training new kitchen staff on cooking techniques, equipment usage, and safety protocols.
Qualifications: 
  • Previous experience as a Line Cook or in a similar role within the food industry is preferred.
  • Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in food handling.
  • Experience in food service management is a plus.
  • Familiarity with banquet service is beneficial for catering events.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  • A passion for culinary arts and commitment to continuous learning in the kitchen.
Compensation: $14.00 - $25.00 per hour
