Job Description: The Front Desk Shift Supervisor plays a critical role in ensuring members receive the highest quality of service and overall club experience. This position requires a confident, motivated leader who can supervise, support, and coordinate the front desk team to maintain a professional, welcoming, and efficient environment.

The Supervisor is responsible for leading daily front desk operations—including check-ins, account support, member inquiries, and issue resolution—while ensuring the team upholds Crunch's high service standards and operational policies. They will demonstrate a strong understanding of companywide processes, policies, and initiatives, helping to protect the integrity of the Crunch brand at all times.

Responsibilities:

Administration/Organization
  • Demonstrate expert knowledge of all standard operating procedures, front desk protocols, and company policies.
  • Effectively communicate and implement club policies and procedures to ensure staff understanding and compliance.
  • Lead by example in decision-making, professionalism, and problem-solving during daily operations.
  • Foster a positive and productive team environment by encouraging collaboration, accountability, and member-focused service.
  • Assist in recruiting, hiring, and onboarding high-caliber front desk staff who align with Crunch brand standards and values.
  • Provide on-the-job training and continuous support to ensure staff performance meets service expectations.
  • Monitor team productivity and service levels, offering coaching and recognition as needed.
  • Coordinate with management to execute club initiatives and maintain alignment across departments.
  • Uphold operational standards, including safety protocols, opening/closing procedures, and cleanliness of the front desk area.
Sales/Revenue Management
  • Lead, motivate, and manage a high-performing team focused on driving membership growth and revenue.
  • Consistently achieve or exceed targeted sales and revenue goals through effective team leadership and performance management.
  • Implement and support company-wide sales programs and promotions to generate new leads and maximize new membership acquisition.
  • Ensure the team actively uses lead tracking tools and maintains accurate daily records.
  • Effectively communicate all current promotions and sales initiatives to the front desk team and relevant staff.
  • Foster a goal-driven environment that prioritizes customer service and results-oriented sales efforts.
Leadership/Motivation
  • Serve as a positive role model for employees, demonstrating professionalism, integrity, and a strong work ethic.
  • Communicate effectively through regular team meetings and one-on-one check-ins with key personnel.
  • Foster a supportive work environment that encourages open communication and values employee feedback.
  • Take proactive steps to maintain a high-quality workplace culture and address concerns constructively.
  • Oversee, mentor, and develop department heads to ensure consistent leadership and operational alignment across all areas of the club.
Accountabilities
  • Implement and support company programs and promotions to generate new leads and drive optimal membership growth.
  • Monitor and manage club expenses, including payroll and general administrative costs, to align with budgetary goals.
  • Ensure the club consistently meets Crunch standards for cleanliness, maintenance, safety, and overall facility operations.
  • Stay informed about local market trends and maintain knowledge of key competitors.
  • Conduct frequent walk-throughs of the facility to identify and address any operational, maintenance, or service issues promptly.
