Position Summary
The HR Generalist is responsible for performing HR-related duties on a professional level and works closely with senior HR management in supporting company team members and managers. This position carries out responsibilities in the following functional areas: benefits and HR administration, workers’ compensation and safety, performance management, reporting, onboarding, policy documentation, recruitment/employment, diversity and inclusion, and employment law compliance.

Qualifications
·      Bachelor’s Degree in HRM, Organizational Development, Business or related field preferred.
·      Minimum of five years progressive HR experience.
·      Intermediate to strong data gathering and troubleshooting skills
·      Strong phone contact handling skills and active listening skills
·      Ability to adapt/respond to different types of situations
·      Excellent communication skills
·      Ability to multi-task, prioritize and manage time effectively. Highly organized.
·      Able to meet changing priorities and deadlines
·      Able to balance multiple tasks simultaneously, including project administration, monitoring, and execution; possess good organizational skills
·      Proficiency in MS Office products including Outlook, Word, Excel, and Power Point
·      SHRM certification preferred

Key Responsibilities
·      Demonstrates actions consistent with company culture in all interactions; acts as culture ambassador. Acts as “servant leader” for all team members.
·      Administers various human resource plans and procedures for all organization team members; assists in the development and implementation of personnel policies and procedures; reviews, makes recommendations for changes.
·      Participates in developing department goals, objectives and systems. Assists in HRIS implementation and drives Business Intelligence reporting. Audits personnel related data periodically to ensure accuracy.
·      Performs benefits administration, including claims resolution, change reporting, approving invoices for payment and communicating benefits information to employees. Leads new hire benefits orientation and open enrollment meetings annually.
·      Supports management team and new team members through acquisition process, timeclock setup and welcome transition.
·      Develops, maintains, conducts new-employee orientation program and makes regular updates to ensure the program supports company culture.
·      Identifies needs, develops and delivers manager or team training as required to bolster team member KPIs.
·      Files EEO-1 report annually; and maintains other records, reports and logs to conform to EEO regulations.
·      Participates in administrative staff meetings and attends other meetings and seminars.
·      Maintains company organization charts and the employee directory.
·      Assists in evaluation of reports, decisions and results of department in relation to established goals. Recommends new approaches, policies and procedures to continually improve efficiency of the department and services performed.
·      Manages workers’ compensation reporting process and claims through regular and timely interaction with our brokers and claims adjusters.
·      Manages the Company’s leave programs, to include FMLA (outsourced), short and long term disability, paid parental leave, and other leave programs as required.
·      Maintains human resource information system records and compiles reports from the database.
·     Maintains compliance with federal, state and local employment and benefits laws and regulations.
Compensation: $70,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
