About the Role:
North American Land Development is looking for a dedicated and vigilant Armed Security Guard to join our team in Monroe, LA. This is a critical role where you'll help protect our assets, property, and personnel while maintaining a safe and secure environment. Responsibilities:
- Patrol and monitor assigned areas to deter unauthorized access, theft, and vandalism
- Respond swiftly and appropriately to security incidents, emergencies, and alarms
- Enforce company policies and access control procedures at entry and exit points
- Conduct routine inspections of buildings, grounds, and perimeters
- Document and report incidents, suspicious activity, and daily security logs
- Coordinate with law enforcement and emergency services when necessary
- Maintain a visible, professional presence to deter potential security threats
Requirements:
- Valid Louisiana armed security guard license or commission card required
- Proven experience in armed security, law enforcement, or military service preferred
- Proficient in firearm handling, safety protocols, and use-of-force policies
- Strong observational skills and ability to assess and de-escalate situations
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for incident reporting
- Ability to stand, patrol, and remain alert for extended periods
- Reliable, professional, and able to work varied shifts including nights and weekends

Compensation: $13.00 - $15.00 per hour
