Job Summary
We are looking for Resident in Counseling to join our team! You will play a crucial role in evaluating patients, developing individual treatment plans, and providing therapy to military members, veterans, law enforcment and first responders.
Responsibilities
- Implement standards of care for counselors
- Participate in clients’ plans of care.
- Perform client evaluations and help develop a treatment plan
- Assess the psychosocial status of the clients
- Make follow-up sessions to assess and continue the plans of care
- Plan interventions based on client's needs and findings
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records
Qualifications
- Master’s degree in counseling
- Experience in therapy and counseling, including virtual care
- An active Virginia license as a Resident in Counseling
- Military culture, law enforcement or first respondor competency
Flexible work from home options available.
Compensation: $45,000.00 - $58,000.00 per year

The majority of our clients are active duty sailors at Naval Station Norfolk. We also see service members from the other military installations in Virginia. We also work with military spouses and recent veterans.
