Job Summary
We are seeking an energetic and experienced aftercare teacher/Driver to join our team! You will be leading a class of students through the school year, assessing their current academic level, and designing instruction to meet students’ collective and individual needs.
We are seeking an energetic and experienced aftercare teacher/Driver to join our team! You will be leading a class of students through the school year, assessing their current academic level, and designing instruction to meet students’ collective and individual needs.
You are passionate about learning and helping students reach their potential. With strong creative and problem-solving skills, you love connecting with individual students and creating an engaging classroom environment.
Responsibilities
- Assist children with developing social and emotional skills
- Use a range of instructional methods and learning techniques
- Communicate with parents and other school personnel
- Assess student's skills and performance to ensure they are meeting developmental milestones
Qualifications
- 45 child care training hours
- Drivers Training
- Strong understanding of child development principles and best practices in education and classroom management
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Knowledge of classroom health, safety, and sanitation guidelines and ability to closely adhere to the guidelines
- Problem-solving and mediation skills
Compensation: $14.00 - $16.00 per hour

We also boast an extra-large 4,000 square foot, enclosed outdoor facility, including poured-rubber foundation underneath soft turf, permanent playground equipment, open sports/activity area, shade-sails, complete privacy screens all around, and a separate toddler area.
