About the Role:
- Assist the Director in managing daily operations and staff supervision.
- Support curriculum implementation and ensure a safe, nurturing learning environment.
- Engage with children, fostering their social, emotional, and cognitive development.
- Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding child progress.
- Conduct staff training and development workshops to enhance team performance.
- Maintain compliance with licensing regulations and health and safety standards.
- Coordinate activities and events that promote family involvement and community engagement.
- Assist in budgeting and resource allocation for classroom activities and supplies.
- Associate’s degree in Early Childhood Education or related field; Bachelor’s preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in child care or early childhood education.
- Strong leadership skills with a passion for mentoring and developing staff.
- Knowledge of state licensing regulations and best practices in child care.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with families and children.
- CPR and First Aid certification required; additional certifications a plus.
- Ability to create a positive, inclusive, and engaging learning environment.
- Enthusiastic and nurturing demeanor with a commitment to child development.
