About the Role:
Join The Lion of Judah Early Learning Centers as an Afterschool Bus and Van Driver, where you will play a vital role in ensuring the safety and well-being of our children during their daily commutes. We are looking for enthusiastic individuals who are passionate about working with children and providing them with a safe and enjoyable transportation experience.
Responsibilities:
- Safely transport children to and from school and various activities.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle.
- Ensure adherence to all traffic laws and safety protocols.
- Maintain a clean and organized vehicle interior.
- Assist children with boarding and exiting the vehicle.
- Communicate effectively with parents and staff regarding transportation schedules.
- Report any vehicle issues or incidents promptly.
- Foster a positive and friendly environment for children during rides.
Requirements:
- Valid commercial driver's license with appropriate endorsements.
- Experience driving buses or vans, preferably with children.
- Strong understanding of traffic laws and safety regulations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage a group of children in a safe and friendly manner.
- First Aid and CPR certification is a plus.
- Clean driving record and background check required.
- Reliable, punctual, and dedicated to child safety and well-being.
