Job Summary:
- Works with other installers and independently, in the completion of installs and service calls.
- Good time management
- Responsible for timely completion of daily procedures and paperwork they are assigned.
- Tech is also responsible for assigned vehicle care and maintenance.
- Good customer service.
- Residential and commercial audio/video/alarm systems
- Home control and automation systems
- Control 4 knowledge and or Certified
- Lutron lighting control systems
- Lutron motorized window treatment systems
- Wired and wireless network systems
- Camera surveillance systems including network and digital video recorders
- Programming of single-room and multi room setups
- Knowledge of security system programming and design
- Will also be required to neatly and clearly provide and complete daily documentation and job status reports
- Equipment racks utilizing proper techniques for equipment placement, wire management, ventilation and power distribution
- Completion of Alarm.com Academy (or obtain within 6 months of hire)
- Completion of ProSource University within the first year of employment
- Practical hands-on knowledge of audio/video equipment and low voltage electronics.
- Practical hands-on knowledge of audio/video equipment and low voltage electronics
- Must have practical hands-on installation and troubleshooting knowledge of alarm
- Knowledge or understanding of residential network technologies.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Highly detailed, organized, and multitask driven
- Ability to use hand and power tools
- Strong problem-solving skills
