Position Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist to join a dynamic rehab services team serving across outpatient, inpatient rehab, and acute care settings. The role involves direct patient care and collaboration with a multi-disciplinary clinical team to provide exceptional therapy and recovery outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide patient evaluations, treatments, and discharges in an outpatient rehab setting

  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to optimize care across diverse diagnoses

  • Maintain timely and accurate documentation meeting regulatory and medical necessity requirements

  • Cover acute care and inpatient rehab on a rotational or as-needed basis

  • Manage a full caseload independently while knowing when to seek guidance

  • Participate in creating weekend, holiday, and vacation coverage schedules

  • Work with OT, PT, SLP, ATs, rehab techs, and admin staff to ensure efficient treatment delivery

  • Contribute to departmental and hospital-wide Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI) initiatives

  • Attend monthly meetings and participate in professional development

  • Ensure compliance with CMS, Joint Commission, Medicaid, and other regulatory standards

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Physical Therapy (required)

  • Current North Carolina Physical Therapist License (required)

  • BLS Certification from the American Heart Association (required)

  • Experience in outpatient therapy required; inpatient/acute care experience a plus

  • Strong documentation, organizational, and communication skills

  • Proficient time management and ability to handle a busy caseload independently
