Job Summary
We are seeking a Behavioral Therapist to join our team! In this role, you will conduct assessments, facilitate group and individual therapies, and create individualized treatment plans. If you are a licensed clinical social worker (LCSW) who wants to make a difference in your community and your clients' lives, we want to hear from you!
Responsibilities
- Implement behavior intervention plans under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)
- Provide direct one-on-one therapy to individuals
- Collect and record data on client progress and behavior
- Assist with the development and implementation of individualized treatment goals
- Collaborate with the BCBA and other team members to ensure consistency in treatment approach
- Support clients in developing and improving social, communication, and daily living skills
- Maintain a safe and positive therapeutic environment

Experience
- Previous experience working with individuals with autism or related developmental disabilities preferred
- Familiarity with Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principles and techniques
- Knowledge of behavior management strategies and positive reinforcement techniques
- Ability to follow detailed instructions and implement behavior plans accurately
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

Requirements
- Medicaid Provider ID
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week
Schedule:
- Evenings as needed
- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed
License/Certification:
- Medicaid provider number (Preferred)
- RBT Certification (Required)
Compensation: $22.00 - $26.00 per hour

Lymairy Checo is a Board Certified Behavior Analyst.
She has practiced the discipline of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) for over eight years. From a very young age she discovered her passion for helping others, especially children. While working towards her bachelor's degree in Psychology at the University of Miami she began her studies in human behavior. After graduating Magna Cum Laude she went on to work in a center for intensive behavior intervention.
With the desire to further help children, she earned a master's degree from Florida International University & the Florida Institute of Technology, specializing in Behavior Analysis.
Today, she has helped many families, offering children individualized programs as well as parent training.
