At Woodie’s Auto Service, we’re seeking a Corporate Controller to lead our accounting and finance operations across all locations. This is a key leadership role for a strategic, hands-on professional who thrives in a collaborative, growth-oriented environment.
Your Role as Corporate Controller
As our Corporate Controller, you will be responsible for the financial health of the company. You’ll oversee day-to-day accounting operations, lead month-end and year-end close processes, ensure accurate financial reporting, and provide financial insights to support decision-making and growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the accounting team and systems
- Prepare and analyze financial statements and reports
- Manage budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow
- Oversee internal controls, audits, and compliance
- Oversee Payroll Preparation and Payments
- Partner with leadership on strategic planning and financial performance
- Work with external CPAs, tax advisors, and financial institutions
- Continuously improve financial processes and reporting capabilities
What We’re Looking For
✔ Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA preferred)
✔ 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, including leadership roles
✔ Strong understanding of GAAP, internal controls, and financial reporting
✔ Experience in a multi-location or retail environment (preferred)
✔ Proficiency in quickbooks and Excel
✔ Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills
