Associated Supermarket Group (ASG) has an excellent opportunity for a Retail Price Coordinator.  The Retail Price Coordinator is responsible for managing the data accuracy and pricing of products, ensuring accuracy and consistency in the pricing across multiple pricing zones, and implementing pricing strategies that align with the customer’s and company’s goals. The Retail Price Coordinator works closely with various departments to ensure that products are priced appropriately, and promotions are executed effectively.

Location: Hybrid/ remote/office - Port Washington, NY

Duties and responsibilities:
· Check new items’ data, put them into correct departments and categories. 
· Go over UPC Reassignments, update any LTCO’s that have cost changes or future changes. 
· Review reports from multiple sources and update item data as needed individually and en-masse using batch data imports.
· Review and adjust retails for all zones on new items and in response to cost changes.
· Send price reports to stores that maintain their own retail prices with suggested prices for new items and in response to cost changes.
· Pull reports to monitor gross margins for all zones, check for any new or ending temporary special pricing, adjust retails as needed.
· Import outside store retails as sent in.
· Add in any outside vendors, examples KEHE, Edy’s, as needed.  Adjust retail prices and costs for outside vendor items and make any changes requested by merchandisers. Collaborate with others for separate produce and meat items.
· Run stored SQL and Crystal reports for validations on like-priced items.
· Run weekly wrap-up process, create point-of-sale data files for stores.  Generate label data files for printer.  Pull reports to send to outside stores and customer service.
· Run data QA reports for Order Books, create order book files and send them out to merchandisers for approval. 
· Create conversion sheets and discontinued sheets for order books, send order books to printer and approve final drafts for order books.

Qualifications:
  • High school or equivalent.  
  • Basic understanding of business concepts such as gross margin, wholesale, retail, etc., and retail math.
  • Minimum three years in the Food retail experience (especially supermarket/grocery store at store-floor level).
  • Previous experience in an analytical role.
  • Experience with BRdata or a similar platform (such as ERP or WMS).
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, and Power Point), Adobe Acrobat.
  • Advanced Excel (VLOOKUP, nested functions, and formulas), understanding of relational databases and SQL is a plus.
  • Excellent communication (verbal, written, listening), communication and follow-up skills.
  • Ability to analyze, think critically and in detail, proactively propose solutions.
  • Ability to work alone, as part of a team, and with diverse multiple teams.
  • Self-driven and disciplined to perform tasks autonomously with little supervision.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
Compensation: This is an exempt position; salary $70,000 – 75,000/year.
